This is a very sad news to all rotary engine enthusiasts. After 40 years of production, the last 13B and Rotary Engine rolls out of the factory. I think Mazda can't use a rotary anymore to compete with its class. Maybe because of today's piston engines are far superior in terms and of making power, being fuel efficient and being reliable.

Who knows maybe Rotary Engine makes a swift come back with more power!
